Linda was born in Savannah, Georgia, the oldest of five siblings. Their father was in the Air Force and while they were growing up the family moved a lot which allowed her to see different parts of the East Coast and Europe and to make many life long friends.
As a young girl she loved to draw and color. As a teen she began to paint and art became a part of her life. Linda now enjoys speaking to students across the country about being creative in writing and in art. She encourages them to share their own unique talents, to focus on what they do best and what brings them pleasure. Linda's published journals have guided prompts, combined with artists' illustrations, unique graphics or beautiful photography which encourages children to fill up the empty pages with their own life stories. Her book, Let's Rock: Rock Painting for Kids, won a Children's Choice Award. Her latest book, Only One You, has become a best selling inspirational book for all ages.
